After working at Tourism Vancouver Island for a year, I finally launched the blog for Vancouver Island at http://blog.vancouverisland.travel. Initially we’re testing it with wine & cuisine entries, but if it goes well we’ll branch out to other categories.
The biggest challenge is getting the content from tourism businesses and destination marketing organizations on the island. We do have 8 entries from Victoria, but so far no where else has stepped up for the free advertising.
